Escrow & Dispute Resolution Agreement

Last updated: October 2026

This agreement governs ApexDigital peer-to-peer escrow, inspection, payout release and human dispute resolution for digital asset trades.

1. Independent escrow role

ApexDigital acts as an independent transaction intermediary. We do not own user-listed assets. We hold eligible buyer funds, coordinate the documented handover and decide disputes using the evidence available in the deal room.

2. Three-step escrow process

Step 1 — Fund: the buyer pays the displayed amount and applicable fee. Eligible funds remain held and are not released to the seller.

Step 2 — Transfer and inspect: the seller completes the documented handover. The buyer then receives a 24-hour inspection window to test access, ownership and the represented condition, unless a longer protection tier was purchased.

Step 3 — Release or dispute: the buyer confirms receipt and payout is released, or raises a dispute before the active inspection window ends.

3. Participant duties

Sellers must provide accurate ownership information, complete the handover in the deal room and avoid reclaiming transferred assets. Buyers must inspect promptly, secure transferred credentials and report material issues within the active protection window.

Both parties must keep communication and evidence inside the deal room. False evidence, coercion or attempts to bypass escrow may result in account restriction and an adverse dispute decision.

4. Mandatory dispute evidence

A dispute must include a continuous screen recording showing the relevant login, ownership, access or delivery issue, together with deal-room messages and supporting screenshots where available. Cropped or disconnected evidence may be given less weight. We may request additional verification from either party.

5. Human arbitration

After sufficient evidence is received, the ApexDigital human arbitration desk normally issues a binding platform decision within 24–48 hours. The decision may release funds, refund funds or allocate them proportionally. It is final for platform processing, without limiting rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

6. Protection tiers and fees

Under current standard platform promotional terms, escrow mediation fees for standalone deals are assessed solely to the initiating buyer and added to the deal amount at checkout. Seller deductions are currently waived (0%), so sellers receive 100% of the agreed deal amount on release. ApexDigital may revise this allocation for future deals; the applicable fees are always shown before payment.

The checkout shows the selected protection period and fee before payment. Longer tiers extend the inspection deadline. Escrow fees are generally non-refundable once verification or handover work begins, except where required by law or expressly decided during arbitration.

7. Governing law and contact
